This mural's design concept is about paying tribute to a "Bygone Era" from the late 1920s- 1930s when the building was established as a Motor Garage, Iron Monger, Drapery and Butcher. The building was originally owned by JW West, a farming pioneer, and is now the property of the Shire of Kondinin.
Artist Graeme Miles Richards designed the mural in consultation with the wider community and the Kondinin Kreative group. The project in conjunction with The Shire of Kondinin was made possible with funding from the RAC Connected Communities Grant. The site aims to promote social connectedness whilst showcasing a significant historical asset relevant to our town.
