The Kondinin Community Resource Centre began in May 1995 under the name Kondinin Telecentre from the former Masonic Lodge situated on Jones Street.
In November of 2004 we relocated to a former grocery shop located on Gordon Street, with an official opening in March 2005.
This was made possible with funding from the Federal Government's Rural Transaction Centre Program.
Other funding from the Shire of Kondinin, Lotterywest and the local newspaper "Kondinin Calendar" complemented the funding from the Rural Transaction Centre program and enabled the conversion of a run down set of shops into the vibrant, light and welcoming Community Resource Centre it is today.
The original premises were built in the 1920's and funding from the RTC program also enabled the construction of a training / meeting room between the existing premises and Bankwest, which increased our size considerably.
The CRC is managed by a Committee of Volunteers: Chairperson: Michelle Wnuk; Vice Chairperson: Bev Stanes; Secretary: Position Vacant; Treasurer: Sienne Perrier and Committee Members- Trish Barrett, Tammy Garlick, Lorraine Ardagh and Marnie Tonkin.
